Brightworks Media was established in 2010, and has been steadily gaining a reputation for delivering high quality video content to businesses and professionals across the UK.
Video production is our primary offering, and we work alongside clients throughout the production process, from scripting and storyboarding, to multi camera shoots, through to editing, animation, colouring and effects.
We are a business to business provider offering video content for internal and external communications.
In January 2015 we launched an autocue/ teleprompter and greenscreen service. This enables pre-written scripts to be read out to camera quickly and easily, and is ideal for internal communications, training series, instructional videos and e-learning.
Director Peter Thomas biography:
"I have a background in fine art, and became proficient in watercolour and oil painting from an early age. Whilst studying at Wimbledon School of Art, I found that I could transfer key skills of composition, light and colour to photography, and then film. I studied at UWE, graduating in 2001 with a 2:1 in Time-based Media.
On returning to London I started my career by working as a camera assistant, and then lighting camera operator on dozens of film, corporate video and TV productions in and around the capital. I returned to Bristol in 2007 to work for Digital Visitor, producing the first visitor and destination videos for all the major venues and tourist destinations in Bristol and the South West.
I founded Brightworks Media in 2010 with a colleague, and have since produced videos for 100+ clients in Bristol and London.
I am currently studying marketing with the Watertight Marketing Masterplan, and steering the business towards a video marketing service, developing an understanding and framework for producing video content which can be applied at each stage of a clients marketing journey".
